Berlin artist Sarai started her wood art journey in 2020 when she founded the Studio Sarai brand. Her husband Paul joined the business short after and together the couple design and create geometric wood mosaics from their Fremantle studio on the Australian West Coast.

Each artwork is carefully handcrafted while Sarai and Paul focus on using locally sourced materials, including recycled and salvaged timber. The intricate patterns and puzzles evolve during the building process making every design an original and unique piece of art. 

Inspired by nature’s symmetrical geometry, Sarai and Paul use various types of timber with different grain and texture, and incorporate splashes of colour to create their popular and iconic designs.

The Studio Sarai online shop is regularly stocked with new designs and collections, and the couple offer commission orders for customers who would like to purchase a customised artwork to match their personal style and decor.
