Terry Cousins is a popular Western Australian artist who has been painting and exhibiting since 1979. Terry’s style of painting is known as bas-relief (built up, sculpted and then painted) giving a 3D effect. This method is time consuming and therefore Terry does not produce a great deal of paintings each year. His work is extremely sought after and difficult to come by. The majority of Terry’s artwork is on board which has then been attached to a painted backboard.
Terry’s work is in many collections both in Australia and overseas.
