Janette’s new contemporary art pieces feature a water theme, with swimming pools and ocean views that are incredibly immersive. They draw from international Pop Art and Realism and explore these movements from an Australian art perspective.

These oil paintings are reminiscent of film stills. Their rich, almost hyperreal colour and considered use of figures in the landscape tell stories – these are captured moments that invite repeat viewings to invent your own narratives. This filmlike quality is well suited to a digital art show.

Janette’s first solo exhibition of art for sale, here at Applecross, was a sell-out and we anticipate that this highly collectible art will attract a lot of interest. If you see a piece that you love please do get in touch with the gallery quickly to avoid disappointment.
