A Quiet Corner is an original Oil study by Andrew Tischler. "I spent ages in this one spot in Venice just waiting for the light to enter the scene. There were tourists everywhere! I shot so many angles of these buildings catching the elusive sunlight, hoping to turn it into a bigger painting". Seven years on, Tischler has taken his inspiration into the studio and tackled this composition. Here we can see his thought process on how he will lead the viewer, through converging lines in the architecture.
