"Far Away" is an original Oil painting by Cameron Richards and part of the Moment of Encounter Series.
It shows Chloe, the young woman, in soft whites on blue background with motives that describe her inner world. The artist has known the model for over 3 years now, despite that amount of time there is much that he feels he still can learn about her. She is softly spoken, leaving plenty of room for her creative expression through her abstract artwork and very calculated fashion sense. Her large-scale artwork is inspired by Australian native flora with very subtle changes in color pallet, whilst heavily textured. It seems to mirror this sense of mystery that is created around her, subtleties of her personality that will show in brief glimpses before they hide back away.
