Owhiro Smash is an original Oil study by Andrew Tischler. Tischler spent many years living in Wellington as a child. In this study, Tischler is playing with the assortments of forms in the foreground leading the viewer into the scene with one of his characteristic waves rolling in. "It still blows me away how every wave is unique. There is a subtle green quality to the water here that I love and want to capture in this painting"
