To celebrate the last weeks of summer in Perth, Applecross Art is delighted to invite you to “Summer Breeze” a boutique exhibition of small works by some of our favourite artists.
We warmly invite you to this evocative exhibition, the first of our boutique shows.
Opening: Thursday, 07 April | 6:00 pm
at Applecross Art
4/30 Ardross St., Applecross
The exhibition runs from Friday, 8 – 21 April 2022.
Applecross Art is marking one of Australia’s most influential moments in art, the 9 by 5 Impressionist Exhibition of 1889.
The concept of the show is based on the historic “9 x 5” exhibition held by the Australian Impressionist painters of the Heidelberg movement in Melbourne in 1889. The staging of the show was inspired by the fashionable Aesthetic movement and the gallery was decorated with silk scarves and drapes, Japanese umbrellas, screens and vases.
Featured artists:
Andrew Tischler, Judy Prosser, Liz Gray, Janette Drysdale, Christine Lutze, Max Mannix, Natasha Knott and Cameron Richards.
