Reflecting on Stent's visit to Nepal, he paints a moment he shared with the children. Stent uses watercolour to disclose a game of hide and seek, where he played with the Nepalese kids. In this painting, Stent features the child hiding behind a statue, Utilising watercolour to intensify the expressions of both the child and the painting aesthetically by manipulating watercolour. As a result, Stent captures an emotional and layered moment of a unique memory shared by him and this child, creating a striking portrait, even without the backstory. Artist's Statement: With the seeds of the three other paintings being planted during my time with @consciousimpact, a portion of the profit will go towards their new project in Bimire, Nepal, to provide over 80 families with access to clean drinking water.
